Summary of the work Development of a Jira-based repository of business logic that will drive reporting from the NWL Last Mile Analytics system. This work will interface with working being carried out using Slack and GitHub. This is part of a 3 year NWL strategic plan. Expected Contract Length Up to March 2025 (subject to ongoing funding availability) Latest start date Tuesday 28 February 2023 Budget Range There is a budget of up to £75,000 for the required works. We will be seeking the most competitive price available. Why the Work is Being Done To enhance the business intelligence available to diagnostic imaging services across North West London and improve the management of patient pathways. It is part of a 3 year strategic plan within the North West London Integrated Care System. The work outlined will need to be completed by 31/03/2023 as part of the first phase of this plan alongside two other interconnected areas of work. Problem to Be Solved Limitations on the analysis of radiology data to inform operational and strategic decision making. Who Are the Users As an operational manager or clinician I need to make the best use of the activity data within our systems so that I can provide the clearest and most accurate information possible to staff and decision making bodies within my own organisation and wider Integrated Care System Work Already Done The system has been initially developed by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) using existing NWL Trusts' clinical information systems, having undergone discovery and alpha project delivery stages. ICHT are now seeking partners to further develop and expand the system's capabilities and provide more complex, responsive reporting to the North West London Integrated Care System as a whole. Existing Team James Mac, Associate Director of Analytics, NWL Imaging Network, NHS North West London Katie Smith, Head of Diagnostic Transformation, NHS North West London Current Phase Beta Skills & Experience • Have expertise setting up a Jira team with multiple role-based permissions, please give examples of work you have done • Have experience of working with healthcare IT services within the NHS (please provide references) • Please provide examples of draft User Stories, Epics, and Features based on business requirements • Explain how you are able to manage up to 5 different Personas within Jira to replicate real world discussions • Explain how you would link projects to give multiple organisations their own dedicated Jira dashboard, in addition to a single centralised Bug Tracker and another single centralised Development Pipeline • Explain how to setup role-based permission so Slack bots can access some but not all features • Be able to provide Jira platform for up to 15 external users to support project delivery Nice to Haves • Show the ability to code custom tacker dashboards in Jira • Show the ability to link tickets to GitHub code • Be able to provide support to Jira platform until March 2025 Work Location North West London Working Arrangments Work will be carried out remotely as the work will not require a physical presence on NHS sites (unless agreed by exception between the Buyer and Supplier). Does the organisation have a supplier in mind and also would you consider one supplier for all 3 published projects? We do not have a supplier in mind and would welcome submissions from any supplier able to meet the requirements of the project. We would be open to considering one supplier for all 3 published projects if the supplier is able to demonstrate their ability to deliver across all requirements. 2. With regards to responding to each of the essential and non essential criteria, some of the questions do not lend themselves to the usual guidance (of providing one evidence case study per question). Can you confirm that bidders are able to respond to the questions in the most appropriate way for each criteria, or do you still one 1 case study per criteria as set out in the guidance? We would encourage the bidders to respond in the most appropriate way for each criteria. 3. Is this work to be completed on Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center? Jira Cloud 4. Could you please confirm whether you are expecting the supplier to host Jira or whether that will sit with NHS NW? We would expect the Supplier to host i.e. the Supplier to set up the account on our behalf. 5. Is the Jira instance already setup, and if so which version is it? Also, is it server, datacentre of cloud? The Jira instance is not currently set up. We envisage it needing to be cloud based.
