Tender description

Cumbria Constabulary invites CCS Network Services 2 (RM3808, Lot 1) framework suppliers to participate in a request for information (RFI). This market engagement is focused on assessing the Next Generation WAN, secure gateway and associated managed service offerings available to the force. The output of the RFI process will help inform the force’s technology sourcing and managed service contract strategies. These sourcing and strategic options are further driven by a recently developed Network strategy in line with the force’s operational priorities. The force intends to procure a replacement wide area network and secure gateway and is looking for a supplier to design and build the network, to migrate all sites to the new technology and to manage the network ongoing. The force is provisionally looking to issue the formal tender late April 2023 and intends this RFI to inform those detailed requirements.
