Integrated Sexual Health Service

Tender description

The aim of the service is to provide a high-quality, responsive, and cost-effective integrated sexual health service for the population of Hounslow, to improve sexual health & wellbeing outcomes and reduce health inequalities. The service will be expected to make a positive impact on the overall sexual and reproductive health of population in Hounslow, working with key organisations and members of the community to ensure services are person centred with residents, service users and key stakeholders are at the centre of co-designing services and part of continuous service improvement. Access to services should be equitable so that individual needs can be met in an appropriate and timely way; this includes consideration of cultural issues and physical, learning or mental health disabilities. The Integrated Sexual Health Service will play a key role in supporting the continuous improvement against the sexual health specific indicators in the Public Health Outcome Framework: reduction Under 18 conceptions, reducing the harm from untreated Chlamydia infection (15 – 24-year-olds): Increasing the number of Chlamydia tests and detection rate, reducing Late Diagnosis of HIV (achieving zero transmissions by 2030), increase Syphilis and gonorrhoea testing, and increasing total prescribed Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC).
