Tender description
The Collection Sciences and Natural Sciences departments at National Museums Scotland use scientific methods to examine archaeological, historical objects and natural sciences specimens to understand their condition, technology, history and use. To facilitate sample preparation for EBSD analysis on our recently purchased FEG-SEM, we are seeking to procure a vibratory polisher suitable for a variety of materials including soft metals, hard metals, minerals and ceramics etc. The polisher needs to be delivered and installed by end of March 2023 to the National Museums Collection Centre in Granton, Edinburgh.
