Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are putting out this notice as a VEAT with a view to completing a Direct Award. Please note that this is not a Tender opportunity, and that the contracting authority intends to direct award the contract to the following provider Makaton Charity This is to support continued specific requirements of the HEE in fulfilling mandate deliverables and actions of UK governments policy including the Long-Term and People Plan. Coordinating and working with employers in ensuring the provision of supporting nurses and providing free access to online training that has the potential to skill up all the 13,000 learning disability nurses in England, as well as colleagues in other area of health care. Health Education England (HEE) believes that Makaton Charity is the only organisation capable of providing support such as to meet specific requirements of the HEE Nursing programme. The Makaton charity is the only supplier with the requisite expertise and experience to assist HEE in fulfilling Mandate deliverables and actions of UK government policy. The financial envelope for the contract is £45,000 Ex Vat for the duration of 3 year available budget with Phase 1 will be completed by 31.03.2023 If any provider has concerns with the commissioning intentions outlined within the published documentation, please raise this via the e-Tendering Portal in the first instance within 10 days of the date of this Voluntary Ex ante Transparency Notice.
