Northumbria University Faculty of Health & Life Sciences is at the forefront of educating tomorrow's health professionals. A leading provider of education in nursing, allied health, social work and public health programmes the Faculty has more then 13,000 students and over 400 academic and technical staff. As part of the continued development of our state of the art clinical skills facilities we are now seeking to procure 3D anatomy tables to assist with the teaching of gross anatomy as well as microscopic anatomy, physiology and histology. The successful supplier will have a product which can match our detailed requirements as well as having a bank of clinical cases, MRI, CT and other imaging. The Faculty has a long standing collaboration with St George's University Medical School in Grenada (West Indies) providing a unique global scholar programme for medical students from across the world. As part of the continued development of our state of the art clinical skills facilities we are now seeking to procure 3D anatomy tables to assist with the teaching of gross anatomy as well as microscopic anatomy, physiology and histology. The successful supplier will have a product which can match our detailed requirements as well as having a bank of clinical cases, MRI, CT and other imaging. The teaching of anatomy and physiology is central to our approach to developing diagnostic and clinical reasoning amongst a range of student health professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, medical students, operating department practitioners and occupational therapists. We envisage the 3D anatomy tables will also complement our existing teaching of post-registration students including advanced clinical practitioners.
