Smoke Vent and Smoke Window Servicing and Maintenance Contract 2023 to 2026

Tender description

Regular service maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure that Smoke Vent and Smoke Window systems in Bield Housing and Care schemes continue to operate safely. Carry out regular service maintenance and reactive maintenance to ensure that Smoke Vent and Smoke Window systems in Bield Housing and Care schemes continue to operate safely. Tenderers are required to provide an updated Smoke Vent and Smoke Window equipment inventory for each scheme. Tenders should be based on a fixed cost for 2 six monthly visits to each site annually (March and September), plus additional fixed costs for repairing/replacing items as required. The successful contractor will also provide a responsive call out service 24 hours a day and 365 days per year for those properties for which a service contract is undertaken. The relevant reactive timescales are - Emergency requests to be responded to within 4 hours, Urgent requests to be responded to within 3 days, and Routine requests to be attended to within 20 days.
