Provision of Waking Watch Services - Lancefield Quay

Tender description

The Cladding and Remediation Division, part of the Directorate for Local Housing and Government, require the provision of a waking watch service to protect residents through monitored and managed fire detection services at Lancefield Quay, Glasgow. The Services required will be the provision of trained Fire Safety Officers whose role will be to monitor and patrol the building(s) at Lancefield Quay searching for signs of fire and fire hazards and trained fire marshals who will continually patrol the interior and exterior of the building(s) at Lancefield Quay in order to detect a fire, raise the alarm and evacuate the building, such patrols being conducted at regular intervals throughout a 24hr period. It is estimated that at least 20 fire wardens will be need on site. The period of contract will be for 4 months from 01 February 2023.
