Tender description

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is building a new crematorium in Newtownabbey and it is due to open in Summer 2023. The Crematorium will initially undertake up to nine services per day, Monday to Friday. The Council wishes to engage with a supplier for the provision of a Medical Referee Service in accordance with The Cremation (Belfast) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1961. It is anticipated that the new arrangements for the medical referee service will be in place before 1 May 2023.
