Provision, installation, and support of a new GIS Platform to meet Sligo County Councils’ corporate spatial data management requirement

Tender description

The primary purpose of this procurement is for the provision, installation and support of a new GIS Platform in Sligo County Council to meet its corporate spatial data management requirements. This includes browser based GIS software to distribute spatial datasets across the Council’s corporate network and publish spatial data online. The GIS platform should be compatible with standard SQL Spatial Databases with the ability to publish secure and public webservices that can be displayed in browser-based GIS applications.Subject to the successful conclusion of this procurement exercise it is intended that the contract will commence in Q4 2022 and the duration will be for three years with an option for each of the participating County Councils to extend the contract by periods of up to 1 year with two such extensions.Sligo County Council will enter into a Services Contract with the successful Service Provider.
