Lavender Fields Forever Film - Sutton STEAMs Ahead

<p>As part of the Sutton STEAMs Ahead 2023 cultural celebration, the London Borough of Sutton wishes to commission an experienced community / heritage film maker to develop and deliver a short accessible film (15 mins max), which tells the story of Sutton's historic lavender herb Industry. The film will also touch on the contemporary role the lavender plant plays locally, whilst also exploring connections with other aromatic plants and the diverse cultures of residents within the borough. The final film will be shown at the borough’s historic house museums and libraries, with ongoing viewing access, and be shared with local schools. It will also be available online as a legacy and creative output of the Sutton STEAMs Ahead 2023 programme, and go into the London Borough of Sutton archives in perpetuity.</p> Keywords: film
