This project includes the strip out and replacement of the existing boiler and the old single pipe distribution system in a two Classroom School outside Tralee, Co. Kerry. Installation of a new wall hung boiler, a new more efficient controls system and the existing radiators are to be replaced including new zoned 2 pipe distribution system. New high efficiency condensing modulating LPG boilers are to replace the failing existing oil unit. It is proposed to install 2no. wall hung boilers in duty/assist configuration to address the issues of redundancy that the school has faced. Installation will be as per TGD 002, TGD 030 & TGD 033. This will include: Drain down make safe and disposal of oil tank in accordance with EPA guidelines. Strip out of redundant boiler and boiler house plant. Strip out of redundant radiators and pipework. Installation of 2no. new condensing modulating boilers & burners. New Flue kits. Trench and making good from new LPG tank to boiler house. New LPG connection with secondary stage LPG regulation. 1no. LPG detector, gas detection panel and slam shut valve. A new twin head primary pump. Potential for specialist removal of asbestos gaskets in the boiler. Installation of new low water content radiators and 2 zone 2 pipe F&R. New controls with weather compensated controller with 3 zone time clock c/w 7 day scheduling, set backs etc. New Electrical installation of all of the elements above.
