Tender description

Worcester City Council, Bromsgrove District Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Redditch Borough Council and Wychavon District Council are jointly commissioning a new Worcestershire Housing First contract. The Procurement is being run under the Light Touch Regime, and the Authorities reserve the right to use the flexibilities permitted by Regulation 76 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) in the conduct of procurements for "light regime" services. The five Worcestershire Local Authorities would like to invite suitably experienced and skilled providers of Housing First or similar services to submit an expression of interest (EOI). Housing First model aims to provide chronically homeless person with housing first, as the foundation on which the other needs can be addressed, and the process of recovery can begin. This model is now a popular housing and treatment model that has proven successful with very complex clients who have faced multiple exclusions from traditional hostel and treatment setting. The contract is for the provision of the support element for 43 Housing First participants with the accommodation being provided through registered social providers. Please see the Expression of Interest Documents for further information Lot 1: Worcester City Council, Bromsgrove District Council, Malvern Hills District Council, Redditch Borough Council and Wychavon District Council are jointly commissioning a new Worcestershire Housing First contract.
