To provide park users with a good quality mobile catering experience suitable for ALL season consumption The successful bidder will be an established local trader, specializing in mobile catering. The concessions are offered to local traders only, in line with the corporate policy of supporting local SMEs. The Council does not dictate what, how or the times in which the supplier sells – although regular attendance is expected throughout the seasons of the year it is not expected for you to operate 365 days a year. The Supplier should state when bidding their intention as to style of catering, range of food sold. The concessions usually operate for a three year period and the operator must pay the annual fee at the start of each year. Because of the pandemic, all the concessions expired and the individuals have been allowed to continue trading without a new contract. This has had the advantage of all the concessions being ready for renewal at the same time.
