Technical Dialogue Information Document – Order Comms Clinical Portal

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITON. Beaumont Hospital is currently exploring the technical options available to it regarding an Order Comms Clinical Portal. This requirement does not relate to an Electronic Health Record system. The system is required to provide clinicians with centralised up-to-date access to all patient data with the ability to generate and respond to diagnostic orders; consults; referrals; and, at a minimum, to at least match current functionality available to the Hospital. It is envisioned that this process will afford the Hospital a full understanding of the extent to which the market is in a position to provide the required product and will enable the Hospital to more accurately formulate an overall approach to the project. An advertised tender competition may be held in due course.
