Smartply Europe DAC are seeking suitably qualified companies to Supply and Install a 400m3 Certified Storage Tank with relevant fittings, base, and foundations in accordance with the attached specification. The tank will be used to store water and must be installed adjacent to the existing tank. Please see below for more details of our requirement. Successful candidate will be expected to take on the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS). . Tank Specification Stored Material The properties of the Water to be stored are as follows. • pH: 4 – 10 @ 20oC • Hardness: 160 - 250 (mg/l CaCO3) • Alkalinity: 75 - 170 (mg/l CaCO3) • Dissolved Solids: 290 - 450 (mg/l) • COD: 100,000 – 150,000 (mg/l) • Ammonium: 0 - 6.28 (mg/l) • Chloride: 30-110 (mg/l) • Nitrate: 4 – 16 (mg/l) • Nitrite: 0 – 0.2 (mg/l) • Conductivity@20C: 480 – 800 (us/cm) • Calcium: 25 – 40 (mg/l) • Iron: 0 – 7 (mg/l) • Manganese: 0 - .15 (mg/l) • Sodium: 20 – 80 (mg/l) Physical Requirements • Orientation: Vertical • Shape: Cylindrical • Volume: 400m3 • Diameter: Maximum 6m • Height: Maximum 20m • Location: Outdoors – Coastal Area • Filling: Pumped Construction • Sectional Design • The design of the tank and its outlets should mitigate against the build-up of sludge in the bottom of the tank. • Roof Access Ladder o Galvanised Mild Steel Construction o Self-Closing Gate at Top of Ladder at all platforms o Lockable Rung Cover or Cage Gate • Galvanised Handrailing • External Finish to Suit Coastal Region Tank Connections Please Refer to the PFD shown in Attachment 1: Tank P&ID: 22-11-WWT_RevA01 • Specification: BSEN1092/PS1569 • Drilling: PN16 • Type: Full Faced • Protrusion: Min 120mm Above Outer Layer Notes: • The exact location of each Connection to be agreed with Smartply Prior to Construction. • Blanks to be Supplied for all Connections. • IN01 & IN02: This should include an Internal Pipe to within 1 Metre of the tank floor.
