Tender description

This is custom cell culture microscope setup that comes with an onstage incubator/ hypoxic capabilities (needed for real-time cell culture analysis in varying environments), fluorescent channels and custom Celleste image analysis software. The Celleste 6 software offers powerful tools to automatically segment, count, size, classify and analyse complex images, including machine learning algorithms for advanced image analysis and quantitation (e.g. time-lapse and z-stacking capabilities, critical for analysis of 3D monolayers of cultured tissue). There is currently another microscope of this type in the lab from the same supplier and parts will be interchangeable. This increases the capacity for use across the lab as a whole. The software supplied is compatible with current equipment within the laboratory. Therefore a single action is necessary.
