Tender description
Celtic Sea Power Limited (the "Authority") is issuing this invitation to tender ("ITT") in connection with the competitive procurement for the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone Offshore Survey Campaign. The purpose of this Procurement is to procure an offshore survey campaign designed to inform a future impact assessment of the Pembrokeshire Demonstration Zone (“PDZ”) that will facilitate a co-ordinated grid solution from the test and demonstration phase and commercial phases via one or two Multi-connection Offshore Substations (“MOS”). The Authority is the leaseholder of the PDZ, part of the Pembrokeshire Dock Marine Program and sponsored by Pembrokeshire County Council. The PDZ is located 15 km off the south Pembrokeshire coastline. The PDZ covers an area of approximately 90 km2 and water depths range from 51–66 m. The Authority aims to develop one or two MOS accommodating up to 2.2 GW of capacity. The Authority is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and competent individual(s) (the “Consultant”) to provide preliminary geophysical and environmental site investigation services to support the development, Environmental Impact Assessment process and ultimately consenting of the MOS and Export Cable Corridor (“ECC”). The requirements for the Geophysical and Environmental Survey Data collection are split into four Work Packages (“WP”). The outline scope of this marine survey shall be included in the additional documents.
