Tender description
The works are to plane off and re-surface the existing carriageway; North Eastern Road from its junction with Brook Street to the North Western end, surface and binder, approximately 1140 sq.m. And Brook Street for its entire length from Field Side to North Eastern Road, surface course only , approximately 1430 sq.m. There are three speed cushions and 3 round top road humps to be removed and replaced on Brook Street. There are existing channel blocks that which are coated with surface dressing material, This is to be removed in advance of the work to determine condition of channel blocks. The channel blocks are considered to be in good condition below the surface but the uneven surface dressing is not aiding drainage.
