Machinery Yard Building- Roof Replacement & Installation of Solar Photovoltaic Panels

Tender description

The contract involves the removal and replacement of the existing Kingspan roof panels with Kingspan KS1000RW insulated panels with a core thickness of 150mm, provision of central (ridge) roof light systems, installation of new windows and opes on the north west elevation, removal and replacement of existing wall panels to 3 sides of the central building with Kingspan KS1000RW insulated panels with a core thickness of 150mm. The contract also includes the installation of a Longi LR5-66HPH 500W PV panels or equivalent with a suitable mounting system that provides for an appropriate physical connection of the PV solar panels to the roof structure. String Inverters are to be size proportional to the arrays installed to ensure efficient conversion of power with minimal losses of available power from solar arrays. Installation of a lighting protection system and associated works on the Machinery Yard Building at Rathass, Tralee, Co. Kerry in accordance with the specification and drawings.
