Housing Needs Survey & Strategic Housing Market Assessment

Tender description

The council wishes to undertake a comprehensive study of housing needs and requirements across all tenures and residents in Hackney. The study will compromise an interview-based survey of a representative survey of households and by combining this with existing data from a range of secondary sources relating to housing needs, requirements, demand and supply, to provide the Council with a Strategic Housing Market Assessment (SHMA) that fully meets current Government guidance and best practice for such studies. Tenderers are required to set out and cost a proposal based on the approach adopted in the specification, but they are also invited to suggest and cost for alternative approaches where they can demonstrate that this will enhance the value of the study and are invited to cost for further related works where possible.
