Hook Lighthouse Interpretive Design & Fit Out Supervision

Tender description

Wexford County Council wish to appoint an Interpretation Design team / Exhibition Design specialist (the Interpretation Design Consultant) to work with their Project Steering team to develop an exciting new interpretative plan for the Hook Lighthouse which will result in an improved and enhanced long-term sustainable visitor experience at the Hook Lighthouse, capable of attracting significantly more paying visitors, and improving the economic output of the peninsula and region. The plan will: > Create and provide flexibility within the visitor experience to allow for adaptation and additionality in the future. > Create connectivity and complementarity between the attractions on the site - the lighthouse and the extended project (Including the public realm within the site where appropriate) giving visitors an exciting, diversified, and unique immersive experience. > Create another/other attractions on the Hook Lighthouse campus which will complement and expand the existing offering, and enthral the visitor. WCC wish to appoint an interpretative design team for full-service delivery, for Stage (i) Preliminary Design, to Stage (v) Handover of Works for the revitalisation and enhancement of the existing Hook Lighthouse.
