Tender description
Westmeath Fire & Rescue Service Invites Tenders from suitably qualified fire appliance builders for the provision of a new Emergency Tender Appliance for Athlone Fire Brigade. The Emergency Tender (ET) will be to the latest Irish and EU safety and performance standards, be right hand drive with automatics transmission. the vehicle will have a weight of 14 Tons, a minimum power output of 250BHP, a minimum speed of 120KPH and an overall length and height of not in excess of 8M L X 3M high. chassis, performance, body, mechanical engineering and lighting is specified in section 3 of the tender document.
