Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the Community Volunteer Support project Swindon Borough Council (the Council) is looking for an innovative community volunteer-based Service Provider to support children, young people and families (the Service Users). The overall aim of the Service is to safely prevent children and young people entering statutory care. Support is to be via a range of interventions, to include provision of evening and weekend short stays for children to provide respite; emotional and practical support; and other assistance.The initial contract term will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 5 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is £ 540,000 and £900,000 across the potential total 5 year contract term.
