Tender description

NTU wish to undertake a pre-procurement market engagement exercise before any possible procurement is started, to determine suitable Chatbot and LiveChat systems and capabilities. NTU has taken the strategic direction of becoming a digitally sophisticated university. Therefore, it has been decided that NTU wants to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various business areas. The use of ChatBots are NTU's first foray into the world of AI. The delivery of a suitable ChatBot and Livechat solution that meets the business requirements is the most important deliverable of the ChatBot/LiveChat project. NTU is also exploring the concept of forming an AI partnership/roadmap with a provider which incorporates AI solutions beyond ChatBot and enquiry management. With the strategic aim of making the university's responses to enquiries more efficient, there is a significant emphasis on enabling students to self-serve. The deliverable of the ChatBot/LiveChat Project is fundamental to reaching the strategic aim. At this stage we will not be formally assessing proposals, so nothing provided at this stage will be evaluated as part of any future procurement process. We welcome responses from organisations who feel that they have ideas on how our vision can be delivered, and comment on the extent to which our requirements are reasonable, realistic, and properly specified.
