2263a - Ongoing Supply of Lab Consumables

To support CPI with ongoing project work and everyday operations, we are looking to appoint a framework of suppliers to source and supply lab consumables. The items have been categorised into Lots which cover a grouping of similar products. The Lots are as follows: Lot 1 – Chemicals Lot 2 – Pipettes and Pipette Tips Lot 3 – Glassware and Plastics Lot 4 – Lab Cleaning and Safety Lot 5 – Specialist Chemicals Lot 6 – Sourcing Lot 7 – Regulatory Lab Cleaning Products Please download the tender pack from our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 1: Chemicals Suppliers appointed to Lot 1 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of chemicals to CPI for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336a - Pricing Schedule’ which can be located in the tender pack advertised on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 2: Pipettes and Pipette Tips Suppliers appointed to Lot 2 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of pipettes and pipette tips to CPI for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336a - Pricing Schedule’ Which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 3: Glassware and Plastics Suppliers appointed to Lot 3 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of glassware and plastics to CPI for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336 - Pricing Schedule’ which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 4: Lab Cleaning and Safety Suppliers appointed to Lot 4 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of lab safety consumables to CPI for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336a - Pricing Schedule’ which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 5: Specialist Chemicals Suppliers appointed to Lot 5 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of specialist chemicals to CPI for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336 - Pricing Schedule’ which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Please note the lists provided are not exhaustive and is just an indication of some of the item's CPI may wish to buy over the course of the framework. CPI are willing to accept bids with alternative items provided that they are relevant to their respective lot category. Where item codes have already been provided these are for indicative purposes based on items currently used and CPI will accept suitable alternatives, however, the current chemicals that CPI have procured have been through a qualification process to ensure they are fit for purpose for CPI and customer processes. Should a new line of supply be successful, any products proposed will be subject to a qualification process to ensure suitability prior to onboarding/ordering. Lot 6: Sourcing Suppliers appointed to Lot 6 of this framework will be responsible for sourcing materials that do not fit under any other lot for everyday use in research and development work, an indicative list of which has been provided in the document titled ‘2336a - Pricing Schedule’ which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Lot 7: Regulatory Lab Cleaning Products Suppliers appointed to lot 7 of this framework will be responsible for the ongoing supply of lab cleaning products for regulatory purposes E.G FSSC, GMP etc. An indicative list has been provided in the document titled ‘2336a - Pricing Schedule’ which can be found within the tender pack located on our procurement portal https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/message.aspx?id=NOTICEPUB Suppliers will need to provide quality statements and complete either or both the FSSC supplier questionnaire and/or GMP supplier questionnaire.
