Tender description

Proposals are sought by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC, part of UK Research and Innovation, UKRI) for the supply of a number of high sensitivity cameras as part of the Extreme Photonics and Applications Centre (EPAC) Project. Lot 1: Proposals are sought by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC, part of UK Research and Innovation, UKRI) for the supply of a number of high sensitivity cameras as part of the Extreme Photonics and Applications Centre (EPAC) Project. This tender comprises a series of high sensitivity camera systems that will be used as a high resolution, high sensitivity, imager as part of the radiation detection diagnostics for the EPAC facility. For the purposes of this document, we define a high sensitivity camera system as comprising the following subcomponents:  EMCCD sensor and camera system unit  Dedicated readout cables and card (if non-usb readout) for camera to operate at greater or equal to 20Hz framerate while maintaining noise/resolution requirements  Local control software to provide: o Exposure, ROI, and readout control o Triggering and autosave functionality o Compatibility with EPICs infrastructure
