Tree Felling Works Framework

Tender description

The main scope of work includes tree felling and site clearance works (including scrub, brash, light vegetation, etc.) for the purposes of enabling the future development of Renewable Energy projects such as wind farm and solar farms. The scope of work shall be undertaken outside of the bird nesting season, 1st of March to the 31st of August. Successful Framework Members (Inc. Subcontractors must cover the full scope of works required under this Framework which comprises of the following: • Mobilisation to site and setting out of works • Tree felling and site clearance (as outline above) • Perform the role of PSCS for the works • To establish and manage site welfare facilities, site security, traffic management (where required). • Reinstatement works – where required • Completing any site inductions deemed necessary to undertake the works • Removal of waste from the site (Where applicable) • Strict compliance with the IPC Licence for the site. • Demobilisation (Plant, Machinery, Equipment, Welfare unit etc) from site on completion of works Please note this is a non-exhaustive list and it is intended that a full scope will be included in the RFT stage as well as part of a mini tender for each individual project under the framework with successful Framework Members.
