Supply of Electricity and Gas - Market Sounding Exercise

Tender description

Leeds City Council's current electricity and gas supply contracts will expire on the 31st March 2024, and as such the council will be undertaking a procurement exercise to appoint an organisation to provide these services. This Market Sounding Exercise is intended to provide organisations interested in tendering for the contract and working with the council with an understanding of the scope and requirements that the council will be seeking. Part 1 of the attached MSE sets out a draft of the key sections of the council's services specification, but it should be noted that the specification has not yet been finalised and is subject to change. However, it is expected that it will on the whole remain the same when the tender documents are issued. Part 2 of the MSE contains a number of questions in relation to the specification that potential bidders are asked to respond to. Responses to these questions will help to finalise the specification and service requirements. You are kindly asked to review the draft specification and respond to the questions within Part 2 no later than Wednesday 22nd February at 12 noon. The council will then review responses to the questions and finalise its tender documents.
