RFI - Body Armour

Tender description

The UK MOD wishes to understand the markets current technology readiness levels regarding Body Armour. You are invited to complete the attached Body Armour Request For Information questionnaire; all responses must be validated through independent test data or ISO 17025 accredited (and scoped to relevant standard). UK MOD only seeks responses regarding Commercial Off The Shelf products at TRL 8 Actual technology completed and qualified through test and demonstration, for the threats described in this document. It is essential that any comment at Column D is supported by independent test data or ISO 17025 (or equivalent), we do not require this evidence but it is critical to assure TRL 8 and establish deliverable strategies to meet the User’s needs. You are invited to attach PDF Technical Data sheets to support your response, any further test data is not required and will not be reviewed if submitted. We have endeavoured to try and make the RFI as simple as possible for responders by utilising drop down boxes and limited text fields, there are also instructions held at Column G. The RFI document is attached to this notice. Suppliers wishing to respond to this RFI are requested to email their responses to Sarah.Griffiths138@mod.gov.uk & Rodney.Gardiner114@mod.gov.uk in line with the response timescales below. Suppliers are requested to respond to this RFI by 10:00 Friday 10th March 2023.
