Tender description

As part of our AMP 7 to AMP 8 Transition and Operational Site Services Procurement Strategy, Southern Water is coming to market for strategic partners to provide services relating to Power Generators, High Voltage, Low voltage and Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). This provision will likely be a two-stage restricted tender with negotiation to set up a Power framework agreement lasting 4 years, with an option to extend for a period of up to 4 years. It is anticipated that the opportunity will be published in March 2022. Region/Network - Southern Water’s region covers Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Resilience - Southern Water has a requirement to ensure 24/7 365 that we have fully maintained fixed and mobile power generators, Uninterruptible Power Supply, switchgear, High Voltage (HV) equipment and Low Voltage equipment. Southern Water has over 400 sites – many of these sites require HV maintenance or isolation as required. The Goods and Services which the successful bidder(s) will be asked to provide under this agreement will be divided in to 7 lots. Bidders will be eligible to apply for one or more of the available lots. The lots are as listed below: 1 Supply and Installation of Generators Supply of new and replacement Generator assets including installation 2 Supply and Installation of UPS Supply of new and replacement UPS assets including installation 3 Generator Maintenance Provision of parts, labour and travel requirements for both mandatory and reactive maintenance of Generators 4 UPS Maintenance Provision of parts, labour and travel requirements for both mandatory and reactive maintenance of UPS 5 Generator Hire Temporary hire of generating sets for clean and wastewater sites 6 HV and LV Maintenance Provision of parts, labour, and training for maintenance of HV and LV assets 7 Supply and Installation of Transformers Supply of new and replacement Transformer assets including installation
