This is a prior information notice and is not being used as a call for competition. North Hertfordshire District Council intend to issue a Contract Notice in April 2023 for the procurement of a new contract for the management and operation of its leisure services from 1st April 2024.The Council are currently developing a new strategic approach for the future delivery of leisure, sport and physical services across North Herts, and wish to establish the appropriate management arrangements to support the delivery of this new vision and required strategic outcomes for these services. Lot 1: North Hertfordshire District Council intends to procure a new leisure operating contract for its leisure centres, the scope of which is likely to include North Herts Leisure Centre, Letchworth Outdoor Pool, Fearnhill Sports Centre, Hitchin Swimming Centre and Archers Fitness and Royston Leisure Centre.A Market Interest Day is scheduled for May which will provide an opportunity for interested parties to visit the facilities in scope, to understand more about the Council’s ambitions for the future delivery of the services and to receive further information on the tender process. Details of the date and timings for the Market Interest Day will be provided in due course.For the avoidance of doubt, this Prior Information Notice is not part of any formal procurement process and in no way commits the Council to undertake said procurement process.
