Tender description

The current College of Agriculture Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) lecture theatre is in need of AV modernisation, this competition is an ideal opportunity to pilot new technology and upgrade a valuable facility for both CAFRE and its external customers. Currently to enable CAFRE to broadcast from the lecture theatre, the college require AV equipment to be configured and set up internally on a temporary basis. Whilst CAFRE have a dedicated suite for broadcasting and have equipment available for events which is also available as a unit for deployment, there is no audience space designed for broadcasting in a lecture environment with potential for audience participation. CAFRE require a lecture theatre environment that can enable broadcasts to be live streamed which will also serve as a broadcast facility to remote deliver open days, forums and events such as live interviews and Question and Answer sessions. The Contractor must supply, deliver, install and commission the required AV equipment in the Greenmount Resource lecture theatre. The Contractor must deliver the equipment on or before the 31st March 2023. The Installation and commissioning of the delivered AV equipment by the Contractor may take place after 31st March 2023, dates of which are to be agreed between Client and Contractor during the project initiation meeting.
