Tender description

Background In May 2023, Liverpool will host the 67th Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine. The BBC, together with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), will organise the Contest in consultation with UA: PBC, Ukraine’s public broadcaster and last year’s winners of the Contest. Tender Brief: Designing, producing, and retailing new and existing destination merchandise alongside exciting, attractive, vibrant, fun, and flamboyant music, destination, and European themed festival related products, targeted at delegations, visitors, and residents (for the avoidance of doubt, not including the Eurovision Song Contest logo/brand). This contract offers the chosen supplier exclusivity rights to design, produce and retail non-Eurovision Song Contest branded merchandise products during the 9-day festival period at three key locations in Liverpool City Centre including the official Eurovision Village, Liverpool waterfront and near the official Euroclub, Baltic District. There is also the opportunity for a second location in the Eurovision Village should the awarded supplier feel the opportunity is warranted.
