Establishment of a Single Party Framework using the Term Maintenance & Refurbishment Contract for Bridge Maintenance and Refurbishment Works for Galway City Council

Tender description

Galway City Council wishes to establish a Single Party framework for bridge maintenance and refurbishment works. The framework will be awarded to a single party to undertake bridge maintenance & refurbishment works as required by Galway City Council. The successful tenderer will also be appointed to the role of Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage (PSCS) under each task order and in accordance with the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013. The works may include the following: - Vegetation clearance, - Masonry repair and repointing - Grouting - Repair of structural steel - Bridge strengthening works - Water management - Parapet wall/railings repair/replacement - Footpath reconstruction and associated works - Road pavement reinstatement works - Provision of traffic safety and control for the duration of the works - Acceptance of the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage - Fulfil the duties of the Project Supervisor Construction Stage - Photographs of the structure.
