This research piece is the first phase in a comprehensive review of language policy development and implementation which will be carried out in three phases: <br />1a. Shaping organisational language policies: Strategies for effective policy development – current state of play<br />1b. Shaping organisational language policies: Strategies for effective policy development – frameworks, tools and guidelines<br />2. Shaping organisational language policies: Strategies for effective policy implementation <br />A thought leadership initiative by Corporate English Solutions (CES), this project aims to establish CES and British Council as a trusted authority and catalyst for progress in organisational learning, language and soft skills. Publication of this research will enhance brand awareness, positioning CES as industry leaders in these areas. <br />This research supports British Council’s mission and corporate plan through promoting English language learning and education for all and making an impact in our areas of expertise in a changing world to stay relevant and maintain competitive edge. It supports HR, L&D and business managers in MNCs who are facing an uncertain, volatile market, increasing globalisation and the need to remain competitive by guiding them in planning, decision-making and implementation of organisational language policies. <br /><br />This tender is made up of two lots:<br />Lot 1: Literature and document review, report with analysis, conclusions and recommendations to the British Council<br />Lot 2: Survey creation, administration and commentary on key trends to the British Council
