Preliminary Market Consultation for Library Software Systems (including an institutional repository, Library Management system and discovery service)

Tender description

The Houses of the Oireachtas Service intends to tender for the supply/provision of a range of library software systems (including an institutional repository, Library Management System and discovery service) to support management of our library collections/content, users and workflows. The objective of this market sounding exercise is to better understand the current solutions available in the market and supplier plans for future developments. We are aware that not all suppliers may be in position to supply all elements that we require. The questions we have provided below take this into account and any supplier(s) invited to attend market soundings will be asked to focus on the services that they can supply. It is envisaged that the feedback garnered as part of this market sounding will inform the proposed approach the House of the Oireachtas Service will take in tendering for this requirement.
