CHIC Windows & Doors Framework 2023

Tender description

CHIC (the 'Authority') is procuring a 4-year Framework designed to allow specialist local and nationwide Window and Door system suppliers with lots for the supply of Windows and Doors (uPVC, Timber , Aluminium and composite) Canopies and Roofline Components as set out in this Notice. The Framework created may be accessed by any of CHIC’s Members (Employers) and any Authorised Users. The requirements include the fabrication and supply of the above components (including distribution for others to install) with an option for the Supplier to undertake fitting of windows, doors, canopies, and roofline components covering a variety of disposal systems manufactured from conventional materials and also a wide range of manufacturer’s proprietary systems to include rainwater gutters, downpipes and soil and vent pipes. Materials and works will also cover fascia, barge, soffit board and wall cladding system (for new installation, replacement, refurbishment, repair and servicing). Lot 1: Supply of Windows & Doors This lot facilitates nationwide specialist Windows & Doors suppliers to supply high level specification systems. The scope and structure of the lot includes window and door systems and associated components, supplied, distributed and supported by the chosen supplier dependant on installation by others or optional supply and installation by the supplier under the proposed workstreams (to include new installation, replacement, refurbishment, repair and servicing). Suppliers can select to provide services under any or all of the following Workstreams comprising this lot; W1 – uPVC Windows and Doors W2 – Timber Windows and Doors W3 - Aluminium Windows and Doors W4 – Alternate Systems Suppliers are not restricted on workstream and can be appointed to any or all workstreams. Lot 2: Supply of Doors (Including Fire Doors) This lot facilitates nationwide specialist Doors suppliers to supply high level specification systems. The scope and structure of the lot includes door systems and associated components, supplied, distributed and supported by the chosen supplier dependant on installation by others or optional supply and installation by the supplier under the proposed workstreams (to include new installation, replacement, refurbishment, repair and servicing). Suppliers can select to provide services under any or all of the following Workstreams comprising this lot; W1- Communal Entrance Doors W2- Composite Doors (including Fire Doors) W3 – Door Canopies Suppliers are not restricted on workstream and can be appointed to any or all workstreams. Lot 3: Suppliers of Roofline Components & Rainwater Goods This lot facilitates nationwide specialist Roofline component suppliers to supply high level specification systems. The scope and structure of the lot includes roofline systems including fascia, soffit, rainwater guttering and downpipes and associated components, supplied, distributed and supported by the chosen supplier dependant on installation by others under the proposed workstreams (for new installation, replacement, refurbishment, repair and servicing). Suppliers can select to provide services under any or all of the following Workstreams comprising this lot; W1- Roofline Components (including fascia, soffit and rainwater goods). Suppliers are not restricted on workstream and can be appointed to any or all workstreams.
