Request for Proposals For: Regional Perception Poll on ASEAN Creative Economy

We are seeking to appoint an experienced research supplier that can demonstrate its capability, capacity and the ability to work at speed across a complex range of partners and stakeholders to deliver this research commission over the next 6-7 months. <br /><br />Research Objectives:<br /><br />- To better understand the changing landscape of the cultural and creative sectors in ASEAN region, it is proposed that we develop a regional perception poll that shall engage relevant stakeholders (particularly, creative enterprises, business and trade associations, authorities including the government agencies in charge of the creative sector, and individuals including creative makers) to understand the challenges and opportunities in the region. <br />- The regional online perception survey shall poll around 4,000 respondents from 10 AMS that may provide us with greater empirical analysis and draw out the gaps and challenges that may benefit from greater regional cooperation, and thereby resulting in the development of more targeted programme initiatives to support the ASEAN Creative Economy going forward. <br />- This envisaged online poll could serve as a substantive basis to frame future cooperation between the UK and ASEAN in the promotion of the development of creative economy. In addition, we can also make use of the poll findings (through for example, infographics and media launch of the Poll) to amplify awareness and appreciation of the creative economy among the public.<br /><br />Timeline and Approach<br /><br />January- June 2024: 5 months leading to Publication by end of June 2024<br /><br />Research Outputs<br /><br />- Design of the questionnaire in the perception survey to be consulted with the British Council and relevant stakeholders in ASEAN including the ASEAN Secretariat and the sectoral body responsible for culture and the arts (SOMCA).<br />- A research report that will be published as printed book and PDF using The British Council Research branded design templates. The report will be highly visual on build on the model of The British Council Perception Survey Reports .<br />- Slide deck with the summary findings of the research.<br />- Up to 10 key Infographics of the survey results.
