Tender description
The type of contract proposed to be awarded by the Council is a contract for services for the provision of a scheduled ferry service on the Foula to Shetland Mainland route. Subject to the Conditions of Contract, the agreement will operate from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027 both dates inclusive. The contract may be extended for up to another two 12 month periods at the Council’s request. The procurement procedure being followed for the Operation of Inter-Island Ferry Service between Shetland Mainland and Foula, is the Open Procedure in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
