The framework agreement will look to include the following range of products: conception aids; sperm collection & processing - counting chambers, sperm rinse, sperm straws; ART media & oil; ART micromanipulation pipettes - biopsy, handling, hatching, holding, denudation, ICSI, PZD; ART catheters & needles - embryo transfer, oocyte retrieval, IUI; ART cryopreservation products - straws, tubes, vitrification kits, warming kits, birthing aids - balls, pillows; maternity creams, gels & ointments; foetal dopplers; amnioscope; amniocentesis needle; chorionic villus sampling needle; foetal blood sampling; intrauterine pressure monitoring; umbilical catheter; amniotic hook; cervical ripening products; obstetric forceps; assisted delivery devices; episiotomy scissors; post-partum haemorrhage management; umbilical cord clamps; baby bath; heel warmers, rental agreements for inflatable birthing pools and maternity TENS machines, supply of inflatable birthing pools and associated accessories, hysterosonography consumables, cell sampling products, uterine maipulators, uterine curettes, uterine sounds, forceps, pessaries & bladder support devices, scissors, word catheter, cervix dilators, vaginal speculums, maternity pads, menstrual cups, period underwear, period tampons, period pads, pant liners. Precise quantities are unknown. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £28,500,000 to £30, 000,000 inc VAT in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement. The estimated value over the total framework agreement term is £120,000,000 inc VAT. Lot 1: Assisted Reproduction Assisted reporoduction For the supply of conception aids; sperm collection & processing - counting chambers, sperm rinse, sperm straws; ART media & oil; ART micromanipulation pipettes - biopsy, handling, hatching, holding, denudation, ICSI, PZD; ART catheters & needles - embryo transfer, oocyte retrieval, IUI; ART cryopreservation products - straws, tubes, vitrification kits, warming kits. Additional information: It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will have an initial term of 24 months (2 years) with an option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 24 months (2 years). For the full 48 months (four years) if extended. Lot 2: Obstetrics & Baby Care For the supply of birthing aids - balls, pillows; maternity creams, gels & ointments; foetal dopplers; amnioscope; amniocentesis needle; chorionic villus sampling needle; foetal blood sampling; intrauterine pressure monitoring; umbilical catheter; amniotic hook; cervical ripening products; obstetric forceps; assisted delivery devices; episiotomy scissors; post-partum haemorrhage management; umbilical cord clamps; baby bath; heel warmers. For the full 48 months (four years) if extended. Lot 4: Birth Pools & Accessories For the supply of inflatable birthing pools and associated accessories. Additional information: It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will have an initial term of 24 months (2 years) with an option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 24 months (2 years). For the full 48 months (four years) if extended. Lot 5: Gynaecology For the supply of hysterosonography consumables, cell sampling products, uterine maipulators, uterine curettes, uterine sounds, forceps, pessaries & bladder support devices, scissors, word catheter, cervix dilators, vaginal speculums. Additional information: It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will have an initial term of 24 months (2 years) with an option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 24 months (2 years). For the full 48 months (four years) if extended. Lot 6: Period Products For the supply of maternity pads, menstrual cups, period underwear, period tampons, period pads, pant liners. Additional information: It is anticipated that the Framework Agreement will have an initial term of 24 months (2 years) with an option to extend incrementally for up to a total period of 24 months (2 years). For the full 48 months (four years) if extended.
