Further to the Prior Information Notice/Early Market Engagement published in December 2023, Essex County Council is currently looking to procure a Behaviour Change Consultancy to assist the Authority to effectively develop options for reducing household waste and increasing recycling. ECC is seeking the appointed behaviour change consultancy to produce an Outline Solution Report that details the behavioural motivations of communities and individuals towards waste management and resource consumption and identifies a range of opportunities and effective and measurable behavioural interventions for reducing household waste and increasing recycling. The interventions are required to deliver net savings and/or cost avoidance and will inform the future design of services and interventions. We would like to invite you to a market engagement event that we are holding online on Monday 11th March between14.00 and 16.00 local time. The event will provide the opportunity for you to hear from the service and project team about: • Waste in Essex • Our journey so far • Our objectives and outcomes • The upcoming opportunity During the event, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
