Tender description

Essex County Council (ECC) is currently looking to procure a Behaviour Change Consultancy to assist the Authority to effectively develop options for reducing household waste and increasing recycling through understanding the behavioural motives of communities and individuals and designing effective and measurable behavioural interventions. The appointed Behaviour Change consultant is expected to produce an Outline Solution Report that details the behavioural motivations of communities and individuals towards waste management and resource consumption and provides a range of opportunities to decrease household waste and increase recycling that deliver net savings and/or cost avoidance, to inform the future design of services. Lot 1: Ahead of publishing the Opportunity in the Q1 2024, ECC wishes to understand the market, and engage with suppliers who may be able to bring different approaches and innovation to deliver our requirements. This market engagement is also expected to help us frame our specification.
