Purchase of two Material Handling Machines (Wheeled excavators)

Tender description

The Council wishes to establish a single provider for the provision of two material handling machines. The Council is managing this procurement in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations. This is a supply and goods contract plus associated and routine maintenance of the supplied machines being procured under the Open procedure.The material handling machines are for the management of waste and recycling materials on our Household Waste & Recycling Centres.The Council is procuring Contract as a central purchasing body for itself The council seeks to procure machines that allow the safe and efficient management of materials brought into the household waste and recycling centre. This will involve managing materials tipped in bays on the floor and materials directly tipped in 40-yard containers. The two new machines are replacements for a JCB - JS20MH Material handler and a Caterpillar M318D Wheeled Excavator
