Purchase of Epitaxial Wafers

Purchase of a further batch of epitaxial wafers. Additional purchase of wafers bought as part of notice DEC420762. To maintain compatibility with the purchased material we are waiving the procurement in line with University rules (Section 4 of the policy (V1.2Feb-22)) where, ‘Exemption from seeking quotations or competitive tendering is permitted for the procurement of goods, works and services: That must be compatible with existing equipment, machinery, systems or software, where the goods and services can only be provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in order to preserve warranties or expand existing systems with an approved waiver’.
