Provision of Services for HSE Products & Publications on Behalf of the Health and Safety Executive

Tender description

HSE is seeking to appoint an experienced and competent Concessionaire to operate HSE Products & Publications as a service concession and to provide all aspects of software development, design & publishing, sales and marketing, customer support and fulfilment services related to delivery. Moreover, this will include production and distribution of digital content. Lot 1: Free printed and multimedia products published by HSE are available from hse.gov.uk, with a priced option for some products available from books.hse.gov.uk. HSE Books comprise of products such as the HSE Law Poster and the HSE Accident Book, guidance books which provide advice for employers to help them comply with health and safety law and legal titles that contain the actual Regulations. HSE Software Tools is the source of priced software tools published by the HSE. HSE Software Tools comprise of products such as the HSE Safety Climate Tool (SCT) and the HSE Stress Indicator Tool (SIT), survey tools which help organisations become exemplars in health and safety. HSE firmly believes that additonal tools will be launched during the period of this contract and/or further functionality added to existing tools. This may include the development and incorporation of online learning content within existing or new tools. HSE Products & Publications have been the subject of separate concession contracts to date, but the natural expiry of both contracts has created the opportunity to combine both contracts into one, which is the subject of this tender: HSE Publications and Tools. The duration of the agreement agreement will be 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
