Provision of Design & Artwork Services

Tender description

The National Galleries of Scotland (NGS) are seeking to appoint a sole Service Provider for the Provision of Design & Artwork Services. The scope of the contract will extend to the general provision of design and artwork services including project specific requirements for the launch of NGS’ new brand. The contract does NOT include the creative design/concept development for marketing or brand campaigns being run during this period to promote the Galleries, exhibitions or other activities. The appointed Service Provider will support these campaigns by artworking collateral. For full details of the Contract Requirements please refer to the associated Tender & Contract documents. There is no commitment to a volume of work over the duration of the contract. Under this agreement, no minimum spend is guaranteed. The Service Provider will have no claim against NGS if they are not instructed to deliver any volume of work. The Agreement will be non-exclusive i.e., NGS reserves the right, in certain circumstances, to procure out with the Contract Agreement as and when required. The Service Provider must have a clear understanding of the contract requirements and the organisational needs of NGS. In the event of unsatisfactory performance by the successful Service Provider and the termination of the contract by either party, NGS reserves the right to negotiate the continuance of the services with the second and third placed Service Providers. The procurement will be conducted through the use of the Open (single stage) Procedure. Service Providers must complete and submit both an SPD and tender response. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 & 9 of The Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016. The Service Provider must hold a valid Cyber Essentials Basic (or equivalent) certification throughout the duration of the contract. If the Service Provider does not already hold valid Cyber Essentials Basic (or equivalent) certification they must agree to obtain such within 1-month of a contract award.
