Tender description

Hampshire has two busy ports, Southampton and Portsmouth, with many miles of coastline both on the mainline and also on the IOW to police. In order to facilitate this, the Force has awarded a contract to an organisation to design, build and supply 2 Rigid (Hulled) Inflatable Boats (RIBs). Lot 1: The procurement involved establishing a single supplier contract to supply Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary with two Rigid (Hulled) Inflatable Boats (RIBS) to operate within the waters surrounding Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Various aspects were considered to ensure the boats could operate in various weather, lighting conditions and have appropriate navigational equipment suitable for the Police Force.
