DONKEY WOODS RIVER PATH IMPROVEMENTS

<p>The site forms part of the Crane Valley Park and is a well-used public open space, forming part of the London Loop. The Duke of Northumberland’s River runs through the site and the River Crane forms the east boundary. The rich industrial history of the site is closely linked with its proximity to the blue network, with the rivers providing power for various mills dating back to at least the 13th Century. The remnants of these activities can be found within the site and the wider area. LBH is looking to improve public accessibility and safety within Donkey Wood, through: - Removal of the existing plastic boardwalk and replacement with an extended section of recycled plastic boardwalk - Provision of a self-binding gravel path, and - Replacement of the existing kissing gate and repairs to the river bank in this area.</p> Keywords: Boardwalk
