Development of greener pharmacy guide and accreditation scheme

Tender description

The Authority is looking for a Supplier to develop evidence-led guidance for pharmacy settings and staff outlining key actions to reduce the environmental impact of pharmacy practice and, to develop and identify appropriate hosting of a mechanism to accredit pharmacy settings on their sustainability status upon completion of actions outlined in the guidance. It is expected the guidance and accreditation scheme will bring together new and existing information and guidance for pharmacies and pharmacy staff on actions to reduce the environmental impact of healthcare, medicines, and pharmacy practices, where appropriate. A full description of the requirement can be found in the ITQ document once suppliers have registered their interest. Please note: the budget for this work is £70,000 exclusive of VAT.
